Last day of Edmonton Fan Expo!

Day 3 of the Edmonton Fan Expo was great! I sold 7 books, reconnected with some great friends, and saw some neat Cosplay!

First up was meeting Marty Chan, an Edmonton playwright who wrote "Mom, Dad, I'm living with a white girl" which is an amazing play I saw twice in the late 90s for university. He had a table next to mine & was selling his steampunk book for teens along with some kid books. I was a little star struck & it was an honor to meet him!

I bought the Bigfoot story for Anisha & he gave me the cat story for Samantha, signing both! So very awesome!

Edmonton Expo - Day 2!

Day 2 of the Edmonton Fan Expo is done & WOW was it busy. Tons of people, AMAZING Cosplay, and some more book sales. Better than yesterday, so that's good.

Day 1 of Edmonton Fan Expo

It was day one at the Edmonton Fan Expo. I only sold one book, but many of the Artists around me said it was slow for them too. Tomorrow, Saturday, is a whole new ball of wax & could potentially be quite busy.

I got to meet Jim Beaver (Bobby from Supernatural), & Grant Imahara (MythBusters & Geoff Peterson's creator from the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson).

Then I met the very awesome Garrett Wang (Ensign Kim of Star Trek: Voyager), followed him on Twitter & got to sneak a selfie.

Beside him was Dwight Schultz (A-Team, Star Trek: TNG) & he was great to meet too. He saw I was an Artist & asked me about my work so I told him about my book & he said he may try to visit the artists area & say hello. *fingers crossed*

The Northern Alberta Lego Users group was there and had a killer setup.
