Day two of the Saskatoon Comic & Fan Expo was just as good as day one.
It was quite slow for book sales, but very good for meeting celebrities.
THE Phil Lemarr (Futurama, MADtv) dropped by our table at one point, chatted with us for about 10 mins, hit on my booth-mate Cara, & then left with both my first book and Cara's first book.
He was extremely down-to-earth, and quite friendly. Probably one of the best celebrities there at the Con.
Anisha took off with my camera at one point and managed to sneak a picture with Nana Visitor (Kira Nerys from Star Trek DS9) along with another kid that followed her around.
I decided to treat myself & got Lance Henricksen (Aliens, Millenium) to sign a stuffed Facehugger & get a selfie with him. When he was done, Anisha and another one of her friends from the con ran up and were able to get a free signed poster of his work on the horror movie "Pumpkinhead."
I was able to get Anisha to also meet Tyler Mane (Xmen), and Brandon Routh (Superman Returns).
Well it wasn't a profitable convention, it was good to experience, meet with some great celebrities, and network with some other great artists.
