Snowy April

Well, its been a busy last few months:

  • My show 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress went over very well. We had a few complaints over content and language, but most of the other feedback was great. Very proud of my cast and crew. Great run!
My wonderful cast. Missing: Token Male
Night of the sell out. The Reggae/Pot scene
Over 100 audience members

  • I was renewed back at Sask Pen as a teacher until the end of June. I might get another extension, but I will have to wait until Late May to find out. Still love the work!
  • Anisha finished up Ringette and did VERY well. She was the most advanced of the younger girls and has been asked to join the under 9 team next year. A new sports love!

She's the one in the purple/red jacket and pink snow pants

  • After the busy February and March with my show, we took a much needed vacation to Saskatoon. Ali had a Guiding retreat so we booked a hotel room in Saskatoon and spent the weekend enjoying the city. Here are some pics of the fun!
Our Under the Sea Theme room.

The Octopus stealing our room TV.
Goofing around at the Fun Factory in S'toon.
We were to go to the Zoo, but it got bitter cold that day.
  • So, what happened to Spring?
Taken in April last week!
  • There was a Father/Daughter Gala in Prince Albert recently. I took Anisha to it and had a lot of fun. We dress in our finest, get professional pics, and have a 3 course meal. The night ended with a great performance by HOJA. Ali and I loved watching them at the Edmonton Fringe Festival years ago.
The packed room. Couldn't rotate the pic, sorry.

Our friend Roger Boucher is a magician (and budding Hypnotist).
He was there doing magic for the girls. Awesome fun
After their performance, Anisha wanted a pic with HOJA.
The 3rd member was busy selling CDs

  • Well, now it is Easter Break. We are staying around town, most likely shoveling (up to 15 or 20 cm of snow expected), and then the girls head to Edmonton for the Spring Break.

Anisha dressed in 80s fashion for her last day of school before Spring Break.

  • Book 3 of the Galactic Odyssey Series is about half done. I just finished Chapter 6 and I like where it is headed. Still planning for a summer book release. *crosses fingers*
