Skating and Reading

So, Rise of the New Rebellion came out in October 2013.  I finally did the official launch of the book along with a reading at the local library. I read 3 sections of book 2 and a tease of book 3, Legion of the Red Ring. While there, I was interviewed by the local paper.

I'll be attending 2-4 conventions this year to promo my book:

1. The Central Canada Lit Fest (March 29 & 30) in Winnipeg. A writer's convention. (Paid, not confirmed yet)
2. The Saskatoon Blitz (July 26 & 27). An Anime convention. (Not Registered yet)
3. The Edmonton Comic and Entertainment Expo (September 26-28). (Paid and confirmed!!!)
4. The Pure Speculation Festival (November) in Edmonton. A Science Fiction Festival. (Not Registered, no info out yet)

Once I get more info, I'll post it here!

A couple things happened the last few days. Samantha turned 4 and had a small party. She was very excited to have her friends over and play with them. Gifts were given out in a pseudo-musical chairs style

We then took them skating on Sunday the 19th of January. 1st time for Samantha on skates. 1st time for me in 10-ish years... I didn't do so well.

My play, 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress by Allan Ball (True Blood, American Beauty) opens in March. I love directing these lovely gals. Here is a behind the scenes shot of the main cast during rehearsal!
