Well, it is day 2 and I am tired. My sleep patterns are changed. Yes, throat is sore, but manageable. Oddly, my body aches from the odd muscle movements when I had to sleep in the ICU. The sucky part is that I think I have a cold. My nose gets stuffy quickly and I have to cough up phlegm... luckily it all comes up without any blood.
I enjoyed a nice serving of scrambled eggs this morning, then some popsicles, now some ice cream. The fatigue is annoying, but I guess it all comes with recovery. Gonna try and watch some more tv/movies and hopefully see something I like, because the last two movies I watched (Get Him to the Greek, Monty Python's The Meaning of Life) were no good.
Anyhoo... here is a pic of me at noon, nothing too special... just awake and tolerating the pain.
