So after a nice shower, I got ready and did some shopping. I got some presents for Anisha's 5th birthday, and some food for my coworkers for the staff meeting. I got a cheese and meat sampler because I knew I could snack on the odd cheese piece. I then got me an order of garlic mashed potatoes and a Booster Juice for me to eat at the staff meeting.
The meeting went well, my meds kicked in half way through it and I for a wee bit drowsy. I learned that Sylvan will be switching from paper books to iPads in the near future. Neat.
After I picked up Ali & the girls, we went to Superstore and picked up some burgers and buns for a Bbq supper. I was going to finish my mashed potatoes... But I was very exhausted after today, so I just relaxed. Maybe I will attempt to eat later.
I did discover that a Tim Hortons Iced Cappuccino is AMAZING on my throat. I may get that again tomorrow. I am also going for a post-op checkup with my family doctor so I will see how the healing is going.
