Lots of things to talk about

It has been over two months since my last update, so lets get going:

1. The big news is that Alison is pregnant! We found out at the end of July and were planning to keep it quiet until October or November, but at the end of August, Ali had her 1st appointment with the OBGYN and discovered that she wasn't a month pregnant, but almost 4 months pregnant! Our new baby is due February 4, 2010! YAY!!!

2. The 2nd big news is that I have a new job! I spent a good amount of time in the spring time subbing at the local high school, Carlton, for a teacher who was pregnant. She went on Mat leave in June. I got a call near the end of August asking me if I would like to cover her Mat leave at Carlton. I instantly said yes! I am now teaching full time, teaching Math 10 and Science 10. The science classes are a challenge, but I am really enjoying all the support I am getting there and the kids are great. This contract is for the full school year. Who knows what the next year will hold, I will just try and get by this year.

3. Along with Ali being pregnant, both of us became Aunts and Uncles again when Lindsey gave birth Thanksgiving weekend to baby Jaelynn Mackenzie, their 1st girl. She was a little smaller than Anisha at 6lbs 10oz, but she looks healthy and at latest report, mom and baby are doing just fine! 4. Our housewarming party went fine. A number of people couldn't attend due to last minute in-law visits, but it was great to have by who came by.

5. At the end of August, I was baptized by my church at a local lake. It was a great experience and I was proud to display my love and commitment to my faith and God. Click this line or the picture below to see the Facebook gallery of the pics of the housewarming and Baptism.

6. Anisha has been doing well. She is talking in full sentences more and slowing increasing her potty training. The other day she did #2 in the potty which was VERY exciting. We gave her a nice haircut to rid her of her crazy bangs. Not much else new from her. Here are some pics from recent time:
