1. Saturday before we left, Alison and I attended "Kiss the Moon, Kiss the Sun," the most recent play put on by my theatre group, Odyssey. It was a great show and a good meal.
2. We flew out on Sunday at 11:00am and it was a good flight. Anisha had fun on the way there, got to see the cockpit of the plane, and then, once in Calgary, she had fun at the park with Uncle Ashley. Click on this line or the following picture to see Day 1.
5. Wednesday, we went to Chinook Mall in Calgary and Anisha loved being on the Merry-go-round in the food court. We also had the opportunity to visit with the ladies and toddlers from the baby group we were a part of when Anisha was born. Wednesday night, Anisha, Alison, Ashley and I went swimming at a local wave pool and had a great time!
6. Thursday started off with laundry, then we went out to Cochrane, NW of Calgary. There we had lunch with some of my old students who I used to teach Drama to. It was great to see them again. Thursday night, my parents came up so they took Anisha so Ashley, Alison and I could go for supper to Red Lobster. Yummm...
7. Friday we spent all day with my parents. We started off swimming at the pool in their hotel. We then took off shopping for bedding for when Anisha moves into her big-girl bed in the new house. We were unsuccessful, despite the fact that we found a great bedding in a store, but it was for a toddler bed and we have a twin futon for Anisha.
8. Saturday morning, we woke up early and flew back to Saskatoon and then drove home to a happy puppy named Daxx. She was well taken care of while we were gone. You can see all the pics of the last 3 -4 days by clicking this line or the picture below:
9. Once back in Prince Albert, we went bedding shopping again and still couldn't find anything. BUT, we saw a toddler bed on sale, so we decided to bite the bullet and buy the toddler bed and get my parents to get us the same bedding we liked in Calgary. So, the big-girl bed for Anisha is solved once we move into our new place.
10. Sunday had the auditions for the next Odyssey Show "Letters in War Time". It is a tough drama about a young soldier leaving his love interest back home as he heads off to fight in WWII. It is a two person show so there are lots of lines and monologues to memorize. Ali wanted to audition, so she did early in the day so she could go to a Guiding event. I returned for the actual auditions later. In the end, ALISON got the female lead. I wasn't cast! So Ali now has the script and begins rehersals next week. Her show goes up at the end of April, when we finally move out of this house. lol. I will post times and what not later.
11. I am back to subbing... Ali is back to work... and Anisha is back to Daycare. I weighed myself on Wednesday to find I am down to 335lbs. That means I can go see a movie! I will be seeing Friday the 13th with a friend of mine on Friday night. Alison calls it a Man-date. I call it two guys going to see blood, guts and nudity! LOL.
Thats it for here. Have a great week everyone!
