Weighing in the Night Garden

So, Anisha is really addicted to the show In the Night Garden which can be seen on the Treehouse tv station. She really gets into it and gets excited to see the characters, especially the Ninky Nonk (The Train). She will sit in her chair and zone out watching it. Funny stuff. Although I must say, they never show the Wottingers too much since we started watching it. They are the small creatures that are neighbours to the Pontipines and look exactly alike, except they wear blue and the Pontipines wear red. I think the show is racist against blue people.

Anisha is also showing off her inherited temper from me. When she gets hungry, she gets REALLY mad and stomps around the house and cries. She also throws a fit and then gets into one of those states where she makes herself so upset, she can't remember why and thus can't calm down when we do feed her. Silly girl.

I am home sick today. My throat is quite sore and I am run down. This sickness has been with me a few weeks now. The doctor said the recent fatigue and illness is probably due to a post-nasal drip that is keeping the bacteria around and is thus not letting me fight it properly. Apparently, I was colonizing bacteria back there. Yicht.

On the plus side, I lost more weight. I am now down to 325 lbs. I guess being sick, and a full time job are good for me. I still haven't seen a movie from my last weight loss, but now, with 2 more pounds gone, I can see 2. I will definately try and see one this weekend. I guess it will have to be a rental since our babysitter has gone to Alberta for Thanksgiving.

It is snowing up here today and feels alot like fall. YAY! I am happy for fall... AND for turkey dinner on Monday!

Have a great Thanksgiving everyone!

Dude, you're far too involved in The Night Garden. I swear, it's a drug.
Congrats on the weight loss, but you know, my mom always told me that if I wasn't well enough to go to school on Friday, I wasn't well enough to go out on the weekend.
;) Kidding. Have a good Thanksgiving.

Well, I went to work on Saturday at Sylvan (even if none of my kids showed up), so I get to go out and play. Ali tells me about this rule of yours ALL the time. lol
