Fall is here...

Well, my first official week at school was busy. I have most of my work setup for the whole year except tests of course. I am still trying to understand my Math Drop-in class and how I am grading them, if at all. Plus, my large class after lunch are filled with yahoos and I freaked out at them on Thursday for cheering that some of them failed the test. Boy did that anger me. Other than that, school is going great and I am 80% organized now. I also lost a pound so I am now at 331lbs.

I worked the Mom's Morning Out Children's toy and clothing sale on Friday night as security which means I got to pre-shop. I found Anisha a cute Elmo chair (like her cousin Connor has), a wonderful snow suit and boots, some board books, a couple other outfits (the selection was weak this fall), a ball popper pusher (you can see below in the video) and two new stuffed toys you can see above: a tiger and a duck. Anisha really likes the popper-thing.

Here is Anisha sporting the poncho top Grandma got her at the Reynold's Alberta Museum when we visited over Labour Day long weekend.

Anisha is doing well, still growing lots of teeth, up to 10 or 11 now. This does mean some NASTY bum rashes that almost bleed which really hurt her, but such is the pathos of being a toddler.
Alison had a nasty bug hit her early in the week which gave her a wicked fever and nausia and had her stay home Monday and Tuesday. She was all better, but still tired for the rest of the week.

So, what's coming up for us:
I am trying to get my but in gear and get our family booked in for some family photos, but I keep forgetting to book it. My rehearsals start next week for my show I am stage managing and I have my Stats Midterm on Friday afternoon. Still no word on my Calculus final. Athabasca University is slow I guess. Ali's Sparks group has started and is still in full swing with a couple of special events coming up.

Thats about it. Here are a couple more photos of Anisha recently and a video of her with her new toys Daddy picked up at the sale on Friday. Have a great week all!

Hey! Glad to hear your getting in the swing of things at work!
Just a quick note about diaper rash - Connor's bum would get very red then too and the ONLY thing that would fix it - pretty much overnight was the Arbonne Diaper Rash cream. Nothing else would work. I actually stocked up and had a bunch of tubes in the drawer. Let me know if you want to try it and I'll have some shipped to you. It made such a difference!
